This cultivar is also known for its uniformity and early maturity, often ready for harvest 2 weeks earlier than other sweet onions. Please note this is a short-day onion variety that grows best in South USA regions, with adaptability to intermediate-day areas when planted early. Texas Legend produces a classic globe-shaped, sweet yellow onion, which is open-pollinated by natural elements like wind and insects.
