-
1–2 cinnamon sticks
-
4 cups water
🔥 Directions

Cut a handful of green lemongrass leaves from the garden. Rinse and roughly chop or tear them into smaller pieces. -

In a small pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the lemongrass leaves and cinnamon sticks. -
Simmer:
Reduce heat and simmer for 5–10 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor. -
Strain & Serve:
Pour the tea through a strainer into your favorite mug. Enjoy hot — or chill and serve over ice for a refreshing herbal drink.☕ I like to serve it in a glass tea pot that I got HERE.

🌿 Ingredients
-
½ cup fresh lemongrass leaves, finely chopped (green leafy parts only)
-
4.5 total cups of all natural sea salt. I like to use half coarse sea salt and half fine sea salt.
-
2 tbsp of sea salt to add into the blender with the lemongrass
-
6 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
-
½ cup + 2 tbsp almond oil, divided
-
(Optional) 30 drops lemongrass essential oil
🥣 Directions
-
Grind Lemongrass:
Add chopped lemongrass and 2 tbsp coarse sea salt to a coffee grinder or mini blender. Pulse to break down the leaves. -
Blend with Oil:
Add 2 tbsp almond oil and blend until the lemongrass is finely ground and soft. -
Combine Ingredients:
Transfer the blended lemongrass to a large mixing bowl. Add all of the remaining sea salt, coconut oil, and ½ cup almond oil. -
Add Essential Oil (Optional):
Stir in 30 drops lemongrass essential oil for a stronger scent. Mix well until evenly combined. -
Jar It Up:
Spoon the scrub into three 16 oz jars. Seal tightly.

🍋 Lemongrass & Citrus All-Natural Cleaning Spray

🧴 Ingredients
-
Peels from 1 orange, 1 lemon, and 1 lime
-
2–3 stalks of lemongrass, chopped (leaves included)
-
32 oz food-grade distilled white vinegar
-
Filtered water (equal amount to dilute vinegar)
(Optional: labels and a 32 oz spray bottle for storage)
🧼 Directions
-
Fill the Jar:
Place the citrus peels and chopped lemongrass into a clean 32 oz glass jar. -
Add Vinegar:
Pour enough distilled white vinegar to completely cover the peels and lemongrass. -
Infuse:
Seal the jar, label it with the date, and let it sit in a cool, dark place (like a pantry) for at least 2 weeks to infuse. The longer it sits, the stronger the scent. -
Strain:
After steeping, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bowl to remove solids. -
Dilute:
Mix the infused vinegar 1:1 with water (equal parts) in a spray bottle. I used 16 oz plastic mason jar spray bottles that I got from Amazon HERE. 💌 Download my free printable labels to label your bottles HERE. I printed the labels on these 3in x 2in label sheets. -
Use:
Shake gently before each use and spray onto surfaces. Wipe clean with a cloth.
⚠️ Notes & Tips
-
Avoid using on natural stone (like marble or granite) and unfinished wood, as vinegar can damage them.
-
Store at room temperature.

Makes a great eco-friendly DIY gift — add a pretty label and ribbon!
