Dwarf Summertime Green Beefsteak Tomato - Heirloom Tomato Vegetable Garden Seeds

Summertime Green is a dwarf indeterminate tomato cultivar. Plants get around 3-4FT tall but produce full sized beefsteak tomatoes. The oblate fruits, weighing up to ten ounces, are green when fully ripe. I was very impressed by the flavor of these tomatoes. This is quite possibly the best tasting green tomato I have ever tried. Summertime Green tomatoes boast a juicy, sweet, and fruity flavor. The tender fleshy interior may exhibit a pinkish or amber blush when ripe. Determining ripeness can be challenging, especially in climates where the blush may not occur. I gently press down on the shoulders and if it gives way, then I know its ripe.

Water: Keep soil consistenly moist but not waterlogged

When To Sow Seeds: General guidelines recommend to start seeds indoors, about 8 weeks before your last spring frost date. If you gardening in a hot climate (no snow areas), can also sow seeds indoors to plant in the fall, and grow straight through winter and spring (avoid growing tomatoes during the summer).
