This listing is for one bundle of 25 live strawberry bare root plants. Bare root plants are live plants that are shipped without soil or pots. They arrive with established root systems and crowns and are ready to be planted after arrival.

1. Reserve your strawberry plants beginning September 1, 2026.
We open our strawberry pre-sale early so customers can reserve their plants before our seasonal supply sells out.
2. Your order will be placed on HOLD.
Shortly after your order is received, our team will place it on hold until shipping starts in October. This is normal and does not mean there is a problem with your order.
3. Shipping begins in October.
We will begin shipping strawberry bare root orders in waves starting in October, when it is the appropriate planting time for our warm-winter growing region.
4. Orders are shipped in the order they were received.
Because we receive a large number of strawberry pre-orders, not every order will leave on the same day. We work through orders in the order they were placed.
5. You will receive tracking when your order ships.
Once your shipping label is created, you will receive a shipping notification with your tracking information.
Please remember: Everything placed on the SAME order as strawberry bare roots will be held and shipped together with the strawberries.
If you want seeds, plants, or other products shipped before October, please purchase them in a separate order.
We are offering a short-day strawberry variety developed by the University of Florida for growing in warm-winter regions where strawberries are typically planted in fall and grown through fall, winter, and early spring.
This variety produces large, conical, bright-red berries with excellent flavor and firmness. The plants have a medium, compact growth habit with upright, long fruit stems that help make the berries easier to harvest while keeping fruit off the ground and reducing the chance of rot.
These are some of the healthiest, largest, and freshest strawberry bare roots I’ve been able to source. They are commercial farm-grade plants supplied fresh and ready to plant upon arrival.

Please understand that I only offer USPS flat rate priority mail options for plants/bulbs/rhizomes. The longer they stay in transit, the greater the risk that it will arrive dead or damaged. I just want to ensure that plants arrive alive/healthy to my customers.

Reports made after 24 hours of delivery will not be eligible for a refund or replacement. We are unable to replace or refund plants reported outside of this timeframe, as plant health after delivery is influenced by factors out of our control such as handling, environmental conditions, and care once received.
We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages caused by USPS or UPS once the package is in the carrier’s possession. Shipping carriers are responsible for transit-related issues.

Central Floridian here. This is my first time with bare root strawberries. Planted these in my raised garden beds with some fertilizer and after 2 weeks they were bright luscious healthy green! After 1 month they are all putting out flowers and fruit! Amazing strawberries, all in great condition shipped well. Definitely recommend!!

This is my first time planting strawberry bare roots it is my first year having a garden. I followed the instructions in Jerra's video on planting strawberries and trusted the process. So far all my plants are putting on new leaves and growing well. Will definitely be ordering from Jerra's Garden again in future.

We planted within 2 hours of receiving. In the morning they looked dead. Some are growing new leaves now.

Roots, crowns, stems, and leaves all looked great when they arrived! Unfortunately my bed wasn't ready - I thought I had another week, poor planning my part - so the roots went in my crisper for 4 days while I got the bed prepped.
The crowns and roots looked good still when I was able to plant them, but the greens are extremely sad at the moment - probably from transplant shock. Monitoring the water and soil moisture for a few days, and my bed prep included well aged compost amendments to the top soil so nutrition shouldn't be an issue.
They all are doing so well!!! New leaves grew immediately!!! First time growing bare roots for me, it was a little bit challenging to seperate but all looked healthy upon arrival. The price is so reasonable for what you get! I do wish we could buy in smaller bundles for me 25 is a lot but i will be giving some away. * have your pots or beds ect ready to go because shipment was FAST!! I was not prepared and ended up soaking them for a day. They didn’t mind hahaha.

Hey these bare roots are two inches taller than my one year plants. I looked them up they are big fat commercial plants with resistance to neo-p. .
Large strong plants, put on new growth within 2 days! I think only 2 don’t make it out of 25 but there still may be hope for them. I would definitely recommend and order again. If I had room for more I would order more now.

24 out of 25 are doing well. Received on a Tuesday and did not plant until Friday. I kept the roots damp.

Strawberries look good! We had a huge rain event a few days before delivery so when I had to wait a week to plant. I was nervous they would not make it but they seem to be doing well with new growth after just a couple days.
