Early White Vienna Kohlrabi Vegetable Garden Seeds - Quick-Maturing Cool-Weather Crop
Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes
Listing is for 1 packet of approximately 100 seeds

Early White Vienna Kohlrabi is a versatile and easy-to-grow heirloom brassica with crisp, pale green bulbs and mild, slightly nutty flavor. This cool-season crop matures quickly, making it an excellent choice for gardeners looking to harvest fresh vegetables in 50-70 days. Unlike other kohlrabi varieties, Early White Vienna is known for its tender, sweet flesh, which is perfect for slicing raw into salads, roasting, or adding to stir-fries. With roots tracing back to Europe in the 16th century, kohlrabi has been a staple in traditional cuisines and remains a favorite among home gardeners for its unique appearance and reliable yields. This variety thrives in spring or fall, tolerating cooler temperatures and bringing a fresh, delicious crunch to your garden and table.

We have a very small window to grow traditional brassicas in Florida. These crops bolt very easily when there is a hot day. Therefore, we grow brassicas during late fall, winter, and early spring. This can also be challenging because winter weather in Florida fluctuates so much. We have a cold day followed by a very warm day. Again, this triggers traditional brassicas to bolt. I find that if I have not harvested by March, then its too late.

Shipping Information

Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days excluding holidays or delays due to natural disasters like hurricanes.

Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.

Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. I encourage each gardener to research specifics on how to be successful growing them. I also have lots of information on my TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channel all under the account name jerrasgarden. I started this shop to share my love of certain seed varieties and spread the knowledge of gardening. Please contact me if you can't find information or have additional questions.

Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.

Refunds & Exchanges

No returns or refunds once shipped. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages caused by USPS. Since there are so many factors that affect germination and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once seeds have shipped. These are the same seeds I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.
