Bring cottage garden charm to your space with Foxglove flowers! Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) is a stunning biennial flower known for its tall spires of tubular blooms that come in an array of dreamy shades like pink, purple, cream, and white. These dramatic, bell-shaped blossoms are beloved by pollinators—especially hummingbirds and bees—and add height, elegance, and a touch of wild beauty to any garden bed or border.
Foxglove is easy to grow and thrives in partial shade to full sun with well-drained soil. Keep in mind, foxgloves are biennial—so they typically grow foliage the first year and bloom in the second. Once established, they often reseed themselves, creating lovely, naturalized drifts over time. They prefer cooler climates and make excellent cut flowers too. Please note: all parts of the foxglove plant are toxic if ingested, so plant with care around pets and children.

PLANTING
Germination: 21-28 days
Seed Sowing Depth: Press the seeds onto the soil surface and barely cover with soil.
Sowing: Direct sow seeds outdoors, after your last spring frost date. Mix seeds with a little sand to spread them evenly. Lightly cover with a thin layer of soil and gently water. Seeds should sprout in 3–4 weeks if soil is around 65–70°F. Once they grow, thin or move the seedlings.
Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days excluding holidays or delays due to natural disasters like hurricanes.
Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.
Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. I encourage each gardener to research specifics on how to be successful growing them. Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.
No returns or refunds once shipped. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages caused by USPS. Since there are so many factors that affect germination and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once seeds have shipped. These are the same seeds I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.
