Fragaria ananassa

Listing is for a bundle of 25 bare root strawberry plants. Bare root means they are not planted in soil, but have fully developed root systems that are ready to plant.

⚠️Note: If you order strawberry bare roots along with other seeds or plants, everything will ship together once the pre-sale ends and the bare roots are ready to go.

🍓 Pre-Sale: Strawberry Bare Root Plants 🍓

The first round of strawberry bare roots has officially sold out, but great news — my supplier has more available! I’m opening a limited-time pre-sale from October 10th through October 26th so you can reserve your plants before they’re gone again. Once the pre-sale closes, I’ll place the order, personally pick up the bare roots, and carefully count, sort, and package each bundle before shipping them straight to you. Plants will ship shortly after I pick up and process. You will get a tracking number notification (if you enter in your email address when you place the order) once they are on their way to you.

This strawberry cultivar was developed by the University of Florida, to thrive in warm-winter regions where strawberries are grown through fall, winter, and early spring. This variety produces large, conical, bright-red berries with exceptional flavor and firmness. The plants feature a medium, compact growth habit with upright, long pedicels, making the fruit easy to harvest and less prone to rot.

These are by far the healthiest, largest, and freshest strawberry bare roots I’ve ever found — commerical farm grade —fresh from the supplier and ready to plant immediately. Don’t miss your chance to grow the same variety used by professional Florida strawberry farms for high-yielding, beautiful fruit.

👉 Pre-sale runs October 10–26 only! Once they’re sold out, I may not be able to get more this season — so reserve your bare roots now to guarantee your plants.

Please watch my YouTube video guide on growing strawberries to understand how to plant these bare roots and get a lot of production out of your plants.

Shipping

***I cannot ship this plant to Hawaii due to agricultural restrictions***
Please understand that I only offer USPS flat rate priority mail options for plants/bulbs/rhizomes. The longer they stay in transit, the greater the risk that it will arrive dead or damaged. I just want to ensure that plants arrive alive/healthy to my customers.

Shipping Information

Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days excluding holidays or delays due to natural disasters like hurricanes.

Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.

Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. I encourage each gardener to research specifics on how to be successful growing them. I also have lots of information on my TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channel all under the account name jerrasgarden. I started this shop to share my love of certain seed varieties and spread the knowledge of gardening. Please contact me if you can't find information or have additional questions.

Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.

Refunds & Exchanges

No returns or refunds once shipped. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages caused by USPS. Since there are so many factors that affect germination and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once seeds have shipped. These are the same seeds I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.
