Live Red Goji Berry aka Wolfberry Plant - Self Fertile LIVE Perennial Superfood Plant
Lycium barbarum

Listing is for one rooted plant. Plants are grown in 72 cell trays so that they will be rooted but small enough for efficient shipping.  Check out my YouTube video "Live Plant Care Guide & Delivery Unboxing for my Customers" for further instructions on what to expect with your live plant delivery and care tips: https://youtu.be/BmPw4rKLwDk

Goji berry, also called wolfberry, is a vitamin‑rich, ruby‑red superfruit you can grow at home with this live starter plant—ideal for drying into chewy snacks, blending into antioxidant‑packed smoothies, or steeping in immune‑boosting teas. A hardy, thornless shrub for Zones 3-10, Goji thrives in full sun and well‑drained soil, forming graceful arching canes that can be trained on a trellis or kept compact with light pruning. Water regularly the first season, then ease off; mature plants are surprisingly drought‑tolerant and even handle light frost. Feed with a balanced organic fertilizer in early spring, mulch to suppress weeds, and trim back the tallest canes after fruiting to encourage bushier growth and heavier crops the following year. Expect clusters of delicate flowers in late spring and your first harvest of sweet‑tart berries by the second summer—ready to pick fresh, dry, or freeze for year‑round wellness.

How long will it take to start fruiting? Approximately 2-3 years if grown in ideal conditions. This is a well rooted starter plant.

Ideal Growing Conditions
USDA Hardiness Zones: 3-10
Cold hardy down to -15F. Goji berry is very cold tolerant.
Perennial - evergreen or deciduous depending on climate/conditions
Height at maturity: 6-10FT
Self-fertile
Sun: Full sun or some partial shade if grown in subtropical/tropical climates
Soil: Grows best in soil full of composted organic matter
Fertilizer: Goji berry is in the same family as tomatoes. Therefore, giving it some extra fertilizer is highly beneficial. Apply a fruit tree fertilizer in spring.

Shipping Information

Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days excluding holidays or delays due to natural disasters like hurricanes.

Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.

Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. I encourage each gardener to research specifics on how to be successful growing them. I also have lots of information on my TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channel all under the account name jerrasgarden. I started this shop to share my love of certain seed varieties and spread the knowledge of gardening. Please contact me if you can't find information or have additional questions.

Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.

Refunds & Exchanges

No returns or refunds once shipped. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages caused by USPS. Since there are so many factors that affect germination and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once seeds have shipped. These are the same seeds I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.
