Golden beets have sweet flesh and are packed with nutrition. The golden roots do not bleed or stain, making kitchen cleanup easier. Ideal for kids and new beet eaters, its mellow flavor is much less earthy than regular red beets. This variety is perfect for market gardeners and those wanting a colorful produce array. Rich in folate, manganese, and beta carotene, yellow beets date back to at least the 1820s but became popular when it was introduced in the 1960s. Perfect for raw eating, roasting, and juicing. It matures in 55 days and has a sweet, mild taste best enjoyed when the beets are small.

PLANTING

Germination: 5-10 days
Seed Sowing Depth: 1/2” deep
Sowing: It is best to direct sow beet seeds in early spring or fall when the weather is cooler. Beets, like other root veggies, don't like being transplanted, so it's best to sow them directly in your garden.Plant the seeds 1/2 inch deep, at 1-2 inches apart in soil that's fertile, organic, and drains well, and is exposed to full sun. sunlight. Once the true leaves start growing, thin out the seedlings so there's one plant every 2-3 inches. For a continuous harvest all season, plant more seeds every 2-3 weeks.

Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.
Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. I encourage each gardener to research specifics on how to be successful growing them. Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.
All sales are final once an order has shipped.
Due to the nature of live plants and seeds, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once items have shipped, except in the limited circumstances outlined below.
Since there are many factors beyond our control that affect germination and growing success—including climate, soil conditions, watering, and care—no refunds or exchanges are offered on seeds once they have shipped. All seeds sold are fresh, viable, and the same seeds we use in our own personal garden.
Live plants are non-refundable and non-replaceable. However, we gladly offer a replacement if a plant arrives dead upon delivery.
To be eligible for a replacement:
Reports made after 24 hours of delivery will not be eligible for a refund or replacement. We are unable to replace or refund plants reported outside of this timeframe, as plant health after delivery is influenced by factors out of our control such as handling, environmental conditions, and care once received.
We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages caused by USPS or UPS once the package is in the carrier’s possession. Shipping carriers are responsible for transit-related issues.
