Check out my video tutorial on how to grow zucchini from seed to harvest: https://youtu.be/t-M1TY9np04

Golden Glory hybrid yellow zucchini is a standout summer squash variety known for its exceptional productivity, even under tough conditions. This unique strain has been specially bred to set fruit without the need for pollination, making it an ideal choice for gardeners dealing with low pollinator activity. The plants feature an open growth habit and few spines, which makes harvesting a breeze and results in beautiful, blemish-free fruits. With vibrant, flashy yellow skins and solid green stems, these zucchinis are not only eye-catching but also incredibly flavorful—their meaty, non-watery texture shines when marinated and grilled.

What truly sets Golden Glory apart is its intermediate resistance to common squash diseases, including powdery mildew, watermelon mosaic virus, and zucchini yellow mosaic virus. Even when under pressure from pests and disease, this variety remains productive throughout the growing season. Harvest fruits when they’re 7–8 inches long for the best texture and taste. Whether you're a backyard grower or market gardener, Golden Glory is a reliable, high-yielding variety that adds both color and resilience to your summer garden.

Planting Instructions
Germination: 5-10 days

Seed Sowing Depth: 1/2” deep

Sowing: Direct sowing is preferred after your last spring frost date. In warmer climates can also direct sow at the end of summer for a fall harvest.

How to harvest: For the best flavor and texture harvest before the squash get bigger than 7-8 inches long. Frequent harvesting promotes more production.

Days to maturity: 55

Common Diseases: Squash get a lot of leaf diseases caused by pathogens like molds, fungus spores, bacteria etc.... It is very common, so dont worry. Spray with 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water to clean and disinfect. Repeat every 5 days or so as a preventative, or until you notice the spread of the disease has stopped.

Common Pests: Critters like rabbits love to munch on newly germinated seedlings, so protection from small animals might be required. If you notice the leaves are chewed up and there are small black, green, or orange balls, worms/caterpillars are chewing up the plants. Spray with BT or spinosad to treat for the worms.

Shipping Information

Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days excluding holidays or delays due to natural disasters like hurricanes.

Seeds are shipped in bubble mailers so they will not be pushed through USPS roller machines which can damage the seeds. I will not ship seeds in an envelope for this reason.

Seeds will be shipped with no planting instructions to keep seed costs low to the buyer. Germination and plant care information is included in the description. I encourage each gardener to research specifics on how to be successful growing them. I also have lots of information on my TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channel all under the account name jerrasgarden. I started this shop to share my love of certain seed varieties and spread the knowledge of gardening. Please contact me if you can't find information or have additional questions.

Orders with live plants are packed on Mondays and Thursdays (excluding holidays or delays because of natural disasters. Plants are shipped in boxes with packaging material to protect them while they are in transit.

Refunds & Exchanges

No returns or refunds once shipped. I am not responsible for lost or damaged packages caused by USPS. Since there are so many factors that affect germination and growing success, no refunds or exchanges are allowed once seeds have shipped. These are the same seeds I use in my personal garden so I can attest to their viability. Seeds are fresh season to season.
